Crash on Sh1 Wairakei area north of Taupo

The NZ Transport Agency is advising State Highway 1 in the Wairakei area, north of Taupo remains closed due to a crash earlier this morning.

A detour via State Highway 32 through Tokoroa is in place. An update will be posted on our website and social media pages as soon as the road is reopened.
