Wellington drivers are asked to avoid State Highway 59 between Paekākāriki and Pukerua Bay following a crash early this afternoon.
Emergency services and contractors are attending a car vs median barrier crash, which was reported around 12:30 pm today.
The highway is currently closed in both directions.
Drivers should avoid the area and use State Highway 1 Transmission Gully as an alternative route when travelling between Porirua and the Kāpiti Coast
