Closure on SH6 in Greymouth, Wednesday 21 December 2022

|

A small section of SH6 in central Greymouth will be closed next Wednesday, 21 December, says Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.

Whall Street, part of SH6, between the Alexander Terrace intersection and Z Fuel Station will be closing from 9:30am to 3pm Wednesday, 21 December.

Traffic counting loops that were removed during the recent resurfacing now need to be reinstated, says Waka Kotahi Maintenance Contract Manager Moira Whinham.

A signed detour will be in place on nearby council-managed streets, she says.

“People will need to slow down and follow detour signs. Thanks for taking care in these busy days leading into Christmas around our crews.”

Access to the Z Service Station will be maintained at all times.
