Public transport design guidance: network infrastructure for articulated buses draft guidance note

We have just released a draft guidance note on Network Infrastructure for Articulated Buses as part of our Public Transport Design Guidance.

This topic provides articulated bus specific advice to inform design by covering issues like: 

  • typical dimensions of an articulated bus 
  • specific safety considerations 
  • corridor clearance
  • bus stop design
  • design at interchanges and layovers.
