Safer heavy vehicles, safer journeys for everyone

Our vision is an Aotearoa New Zealand where no one is killed or seriously injured on our roads, and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme is one way we're doing that. It creates a level playing field for the heavy vehicle industry, improves efficiency for operators and - most importantly - it makes the roads safer for everyone. 00:00:46 [Text] As heavy vehicles approach a CVSC, they'll be weighed and electronically screened for potential compliance issues, such as weight, COF and registration.
00:00:53 [Text] Potentially non-compliant vehicles will be called in for an inspection, while most compliant vehicles will carry on.

00:01:47 Interview with Dave Boyce. I think it's great, because it means that you've got confidence as you're driving down the road that the other people coming towards you are safe and compliant, and less liable to be any issues on the road.
